Robin Cooper

Prank calls are usually purile and humourless, but then not all of them are made by Robert Popper who is one exception to the rule. His brilliant book The Timewaster Letters is coming out in the US and to promote it he's done a series of prank calls using the voice of Robin Cooper. If you don't find these funny then there really is something wrong with you.

The Quitus Mix

I've done a new mix for a website called 'The Quietus', it's 50 tracks in about 8 minutes and you have the chance of winning in iPod Touch if you can guess what those 50 tracks are. Just head on over there and have a listen, even if you can't guess many of the tracks you might just enjoy the effect the mix has on your ears and brain. You might also find the website interesting as it's got chock loads of features and reviews which I know some of you muso types love to pore over. So, go to the site, have a listen, enter the comp and pass the link to everyone in your contacts list.

Banksy.

As you may have read in the tabloid press over the weekend the true identity of Banksy has been exposed and I thought it would be a good time to show the world a photo of the mysterious man that I was sent by a friend of mine who used to work with him. To my knowledge there aren't that many photo's of the artist and I haven't seen another that is this clear. So there you have it, this is the face of Banksy...

What;s This About Then?

I got sent a link this morning and it's quite strange. It looks to me like a computer generated text that attempts to write an article about yours truly whilst utterly failing the Turing Test. It doesn't make a great deal of sense but does contain elements of fact in amongst the garbled nonsense. I suppose it could be a round-trip translation on Babel Fish, that's one explanation. Anyone know what's going on here?
